I am very excited about the Indian Rupee symbol. I reallllly like it. It looks pretty darn cool! And it was about time, I say! :)

ooooh i like too!!! how did they come up with it?
ReplyDeleteA while ago they had advertised for people to send in designs for the symbol. This post grad from IIT came up with this design. It looks like and R and the hindi 'ruh' letter. Also, the 2 line on the top with the white space in between is representative of the tricolour, with the middle colour of the flag white. pretty neat!
